Palmetto Moon Pesto


Here is the first instalment of delicious recipes for the fresh produce from the gardens.

Palmetto Moon Pesto

3 cups of basil leaves

2 cloves of garlic

1/3 cup Parmesian cheese

1/4 cup of pine nuts

1/2 cup olive oil

Place all ingredients except olive oil into a food processor. Pulse until all items are combined and broken down, slow stream in the olive oil with processor on low. Store pesto in an air tight container in the refrigerator. Stir before using as oil with come to the surface. Enjoy on your favorite pasta, pizza or meats.
